<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a flat surface on which an occupant can put a hand at the time of getting on/off a vehicle, around a front part of a small-sized electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A steering wheel unit 10 provided at an upper end of a steering shaft 120 of the small-sized electric vehicle, comprises a loop steering wheel 11 longer in a lateral direction rather than a fore-and-aft direction, an operation box 12 provided at a center of the loop steering wheel so as to be suspended in the fore-and-aft direction, a flat surface 12B provided on an upper surface of the operation box 12, a plurality of push button switches 15, 16l, 16r arranged in a line in a right-and-left width direction at a position along a rear side of the loop steering wheel 11 on the flat surface 12B, and a plurality of switches 13, 14 aligned in the fore-and-aft direction at the center position in the right-and-left direction of the flat surface 12B and in front of the push button switches 15, 16l, 16r. Therefore, large spaces S can be ensured on both sides of the switches 13, 14, and the occupant can support his/her body by putting his/her hand on the space S at the time of getting on/off a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
