PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary carrier improvable as much as possible in rigidity. SOLUTION: The planetary carrier has a first member 60 having a first support wall 40 supporting a plurality of pinions, and first connecting walls 48 axially extending from the first support wall 40 and having first connecting walls 48 with mating faces 62 formed at the ends; and a second member joined to each mating face 62 of the first connecting wall 48 of the first member 60 by welding. When the continuous length of the first connecting wall 48 from the outer peripheral end toward the inner peripheral end on the mating surface 62 is made a continuous radial length d, welding depth is deepened in relation to lengthening of the continuous radial length d. In this manner, the welding depth is shortened at the relatively short part of the continuous radial length d, while welding depth is deepened at the relatively long part of the continuous radial length d.
