<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container which gives no trouble in assembling and manufacturing the packaging container and in packaging an article, and a package having the packaging container. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging container 2 has a bottom face 23 provided with four flaps 231-234, each placed on each of other flaps 231-234 adjacent in one direction. Each flap 231-234 is provided with each folded strip 231B, 232B, 233B, 234B that is folded to the upper face side. When the article is inserted in the packaging container 2, each flap 231-234 of the bottom face 23 is pushed up to the upper face side.
