<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device capable of adjusting a signal level so that the signal level of pulse wave signals is within a prescribed standard range for appropriately measuring the blood pressure in a blood pressure measuring region, and reducing the physical burden on a user caused by the cuff pressure by reducing the blood pressure measuring time. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring device comprises a detecting means for detecting pulse wave signals of the blood in a blood vessel, a level adjusting means for adjusting the signal level of the pulse wave signals, and a blood pressure measurement control means for making the level adjusting means adjust the signal level within a prescribed range if the signal level of the pulse wave signals is out of the prescribed standard range and measuring the blood pressure when the cuff pressure is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
