PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cleanser composition which is excellent in shelf stability. SOLUTION: The liquid cleanser composition contains (a) a straight chain alkylbenzenesulfonate obtained by sulfonating an alkylbenzene (LAB) having a 10-15C straight chain alkyl under a condition wherein its reaction molar ratio to sulfur trioxide SO3/LAB is 1.01-1.04 and neutralizing it, (b) a nonionic surfactant and (c) 5-50 mass% water-insoluble abrasive particle with an average particle size of 5-30μm, provided that the mass ratio of component (a) to component (b) is 0.3-3.0 and the total content of component (a) and component (b) is 4-8 mass%.
