PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic laminate composed of a thermoplastic resin and a metal preferable for machine members, automobile components or the like, which has good slidability, heat resistance, surface scratch resistance and chemical resistance, and which generates less peeling in a cutting edge by shearing or the like. SOLUTION: The metallic laminate is formed by sequentially laminating a metal contacting layer and a surface layer on at least one face of a metal body. The metal contacting layer is composed of a resin composition containing a combination of (A) a thermoplastic polyimide resin and (B) a filler of 5-50 wt.%.
