<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient electromagnetic actuator with reduced leakage of magnetic flux. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic actuator includes a first coil 31; a moving member 2 moving on the center axis of the first coil 31; a first stator 11 covering the upper, lower, and outer peripheral surfaces of the first coil 31; and a permanent magnet 15 fixedly latching the moving member 2 at the terminal end of its movable range. A second stator 12 for controlling magnetic flux from the permanent magnet 15 is provided successively with the first stator 11. By providing the second stator 12, the moving member 2 does not directly excite the permanent magnet 15 reversely when the latched moving member 2 is released, thereby preventing the magnet 15 from demagnetizing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
