Device for transporting and arranging cylindrical elements in a row includes a first conveying belt (1), operated by first motor means to pull a plurality of cylindrical elements (10), which lie on the relative upper run (1a), in a feeding direction (A). A second conveying belt (2), situated in cascade with respect to the first one, is operated continuously to receive the plurality of cylindrical elements (10) and transport them in a direction, concordant with the feeding direction (A). Canalization means (6), fastened to the upper run (2a) of the second conveying belt (2), intercept the cylindrical elements (10), being transported on the second conveying belt (2) and guide them, in a row and in a discharge direction (Z), to an outlet channel (7), situated on one side thereof. Sensor means (5) are interlocked with the first motor means and detect the presence of at least one cylindrical element in a prefixed section (5a) of the second conveying belt (2). The sensor means 5 deactivate the first motor means, after a first time interval, subsequent to the detection, and activate them, after a second time interval, following the detection of absence of cylindrical elements in the section (5a).
