A screen (7) for the lamps (6) extends between the latter and the plants (4) and is used to prevent light shining through the glass panes (3) in the roof whilst allowing the light to reach the plants via its lower end (9). The distance between the tops of the plants and the lower end of the screen is less than 80 cm. The screen includes a reflector.
