PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping device which is inexpensive and has an enhanced vibration-damping effect. SOLUTION: The vibration-damping device is provided with an actuator (2) which comprises an armature (5) having magnetically permeability, and a coil (1) connected with a yoke (4) having magnetically permeability to slide along an axis (Z) for movement by the effect of a magnetic field generated by a current fed to the coil. The movement of the coil relative to the coil is generated by a force which is generated in the coil, concentrated in the armature and the yoke, and made to correspond to the magnetic line of a force directed fundamentally through a space (e) positioned between the armature and the yoke.
