VIDEO/SOUND SYSTEM, DISPLAY REPRODUCING DEVICE, TRANSFER DEVICE, AND REMOTE CONTROL PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing relay when transmitting a remote control command signal. SOLUTION: A video/sound system comprises a displaying/reproducing device for displaying video and reproducing sound by video/sound data, and a transfer device for transferring the video/sound data to the displaying/reproducing device via a network. The displaying/reproducing device includes a reception means for receiving the remote control command signal for expressing a control command, a control means for controlling one portion of the display of the video or one portion of the reproduction of the sound by responding to the control command, and a transmission means for generating remote control data containing the control command from the remote control command signal for transmitting to the transfer device via a network. The transfer device has a reception means for receiving the remote control data via the network, and a transfer means for transferring the video/sound data to the displaying/reproducing device by responding to the control command contained in the remote control data.
