PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless unit in which intrusion of static electricity into a liquid crystal display element can be prevented surely. SOLUTION: The portable wireless unit 10 comprises an upper circuit board 17 contained in an upper case 11 while being connected with a liquid crystal display element 16, a lower circuit board 24 contained in a lower case 12, upper and lower connectors 18 and 25 provided on the upper and lower circuit boards 17 and 24, and a coaxial cable 30 for connecting the upper and lower circuit boards 17 and 24 electrically through connection with the connectors 18 and 25. A wire 31 passing through the center of the coaxial cable 30 is employed as a signal line and as the ground only for signal. Outer cover 32 of the coaxial cable 30 is connected electrically with the upper case 11 and with the ground 28A of a battery 28 in the lower case 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
