<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device for a vehicle which increases restraining force on an occupant and further improves the safety of the occupant by actuating a pretensioner mechanism of an occupant seat even at the time of actuation of DSC. <P>SOLUTION: Each of the seat belt devices for the vehicle has a webbing and a first pretensioner mechanism which retracts the webbing when the means of predicting a collision predicts the collision of the vehicle so that the webbing has a predetermined tension. Then the seat belt device for the vehicle has at least two seat belt mechanisms provided to a driver's seat and other occupant's seats of the vehicle, and a control means which controls the seat belt mechanisms. Then the control means actuates at least two first pretensioner mechanisms at the time of actuation of the swinging control means for controlling the braking force of a braking means so that a swinging state of the vehicle is made a target swinging state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
