PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transducer array preventing it from the dropping of a piece of a broken array component member from an ultrasonic endoscopic apparatus when the array component member is damaged because an impact is applied to the array component member. SOLUTION: An acoustic lens 11 consists of a convex lens part 30 for converging ultrasonic waves transmitted from a piezoelectric element 71 on a prescribed focal point, and a cover part 31 for covering a conductive member electrically connected to a plurality of ultrasonic transducers for electrically selecting easily damaged array component members such as the piezoelectric element 71, a first acoustic matching layer 73, a second acoustic matching layer 74 and a substrate 77, or a plurality of ultrasonic transducers such as a signal wire 13, a substrate 18, a wire 26 and the substrate 77.
