PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a direct stack type article housing rack for a vending machine by which replacement work for control cams is simply done without drastically modifying the configuration of the direct stack type article housing rack. SOLUTION: The article housing rack comprises: a bend mechanism 10 consisting of: a flapper 7 projected to an article passage and holding the lowermost article; a holding plate 8 projected to the article passage and holding the second and subsequent articles from the lowermost side; a bend motor 3 started by sales instructions; and control cams 5, 60 connected to the output shaft 4 of the bend motor 3 and alternately projecting the flapper 7 and the holding plate 8 to the article passage in accordance with a sales operation; and an adjustment guide mechanism 90 upward, downward adjusting the height position of the holding plate 8 according to an article size. The control cam 60 corresponding to the holding plate 8 is divided into a main body 61 connected to the output shaft 4 of the bend motor 3 and a cam member 62 abutted to the holding plate 8.
