PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a shoulder arthroplasty kit capable of changing to a reverse-type all shoulder arthroplasty from an amphiarthroplasty by using a head for rotator cuff burst arthroplasty. SOLUTION: The kit includes a stem for insertion into the humerus and a first member. The first member has a surface having a convex outer periphery adapted for articulation with the natural glenoid fossa. The convex outer periphery includes a first articulating surface defining a generally circular outer periphery of the first articulating surface and a second articulating surface extending from a portion of the circular outer periphery of the first articulating surface. The first member is removably co-operable with the above stem. The kit also includes a second member including a portion having a concave outer periphery. The second member is removably co-operable with the stem. The kit further includes a third member for insertion into the natural glenoid fossa.
