摘要 <p>The present invention provides a coating composition which is suitable for producing a radiation-absorbing coating with outstanding radiation absorptive power, excellent resistance to solvents and plasticizers and high mechanical stability. The coating composition comprises (a) carbon black particles with an average particle size of 10 to 500 nm, (b) a binder selected from at least one polymer displaying functional groups which allow cross­linking via an isocyanate-based cross-linking agent, (c) at least one isocyanate-based cross­ linking agent and (d) at least one solvent, wherein the carbon black particles are distributed homogeneously in the composition and the amount of carbon black particles, based on the total amount of components (a), (b) and (c) in the composition, is 75 to 95 wt.-%. The invention also relates to a dimensionally stable support coated with the radiation-absorbing coating that can be produced for example by application, drying and cross-linking of the coating composition. This one can be used as a printing substance support in a printing machine and in a printing process, in particular in digital printing processes which use laser radiation for the transfer of printing substance from a printing substance support to a printing substrate.</p>
