PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver in which program related information even of radio broadcast and analog television broadcast can be acquired and program related information thus acquired can be outputted without disturbing viewing and listening of program. SOLUTION: Performers appearing on a program currently receiving a television or radio broadcast are acquired in the form of performer list from a center providing information other than that of broadcast, and a user requests detailed information again by specifying desired name of performer and information item. Detailed information thus acquired is not outputted directly but stored temporarily in a memory and outputted during period of commercial broadcast. Upon ending commercial broadcast, a program broadcast is received temporarily. Remaining information of performers is outputted again during period of next commercial broadcast.
