PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic applicator preventing uneven application, uniformly applying an appropriate amount of cosmetic to the eyelashes, preventing sticking of the eyelashes and dispersing them when applying the cosmetic such as mascara to the eyelashes, and aligning the attachment direction of fibers when using the fibered mascara. SOLUTION: The cosmetic applicator is formed with a plane part by cutting flat the tip upper part of a cylindrical rod, and the plane part is provided with a serrated coating part 5 having multiple V-cross sectional grooves formed in parallel thereon, and a brush part 2 formed of a plurality of bristles 6 having acute tips and disposed in three lines in the coating direction in the lower distal end portion of the rod 3 and along the longitudinal direction of the rod in series. The rod 3 is so constituted as to be connected to a cap 7 openably/closably mounted on an opening part of a container storing the cosmetic containing fibers for the eyelashes and the cap 7 can be used as a handle.
