PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of notifying a user of notification information expressing the reception of facsimile communication information only when the user requires notification and capable of preventing useless processing. SOLUTION: A main control part 9 controls respective parts of the facsimile machine 1, and only at the time of judging that a previously determined notification condition is satisfied when a communication control part 2 receives facsimile communication information from a transmitting source expressed by previously determined transmitting source information stored in a storage part 8 allows a LAN control part 7 to transmit the notification information to a notification destination expressed by a notification destination information corresponding to the received transmitting source information. Since the user can be notified of the notification information only when the previously determined notification condition required by the user is satisfied, convenience can be improved. Thereby, the facsimile machine 1 does not perform operation processing for notifying of the notification information when the previously determined condition is not satisfied, so that useless operation processing can be prevented.
