PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of certainly correcting obliquely moving of a sheet, regardless of a sheet kind or the length of a sheet carrying direction. SOLUTION: An obliquely moving correcting mechanism 90 equipped with an abutting member 90, and obliquely sending means 903a to 903c obliquely sending a sheet P and abutting on the abutting member 904, corrects the obliquely moving of the sheep P. In an abutting mode, the abutting member 904 can move in a direction orthogonal to a sheet carrying direction. An abutting position controlling portion moves the abutting member 904 according to the kind of the sheet P or the length in the sheet carrying direction, without carrying out obliquely sending action by the obliquely sending means 903a to 903c to abut on the sheet P.
