PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptic device in which vertical conduction is efficiently ensured, and a method for manufacturing the electrooptic device. SOLUTION: A step (S1) to arrange a sealing material 6 and a step (S2) to arrange conductive particles 15 are made to be steps different from each other, and consequently the conductive particles 15 are selectively arranged on a vertical conduction portion 12a of a wire 12 for common electrodes apart from the sealing material 6 and by reducing waste conductive particles 15 such as conventionally arranged between neighboring vertical conduction portions 12a, the wire 12 for the common electrodes and a common electrode 14 are efficiently and surely electrically connected to each other via the conductive particles 15, so that conduction at a conduction portion 8 is ensured.
