PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module constituted to be small in size and light in weight even when an autofocus (AF) function and a zoom function are incorporated, and a personal digital assistant equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module is constituted of: a lens holding part main body for holding at least one or more optical lenses; a piezoelectric element whose actuation part abuts on the shaft member provided in parallel with the optical axis of the optical lens while it is energized by an energizing member; a roller provided in parallel with the shaft member, constituting a part of the supply line of power for driving the piezoelectric element, and made to abut on a guide shaft member for guiding the movement of the lens holding part main body and the piezoelectric element; and a member constituting the supply line of the power connecting the roller and the piezoelectric element.
