<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve used in a fluid discharge system. <P>SOLUTION: The valve is provide with a valve element having an internal cavity, and a valve rod mounted movably within the valve element in an axial direction between an opening position and a closing position. The valve rod is formed with an operation air passage having an air inlet and an air outlet, and the air inlet is formed in a manner to be connected to a feed source of pressurization operation air. The air outlet is communicated with the internal cavity. The valve is also provided with a piston member supported by the valve rod and situated in the internal cavity. The valve is further provided with a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet, and a valve seat situated between the liquid inlet and the liquid outlet. This constitution enables the valve rod to move from the closing position to the opening position toward the valve seat when the pressure operation air is introduced in the internal cavity through the operation air passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
