PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection apparatus having photographic functions which facilitates photographic work of a screen projected with image, and to provide a projected image photographic system. SOLUTION: A control part 2 detects a distance up to the screen, by a distance detecting part 8 after the turning on of a power supply, determines the detected distance as a projection distance and a subject distance and controls the focus position of a projection lens 62 in a projection part 6 and that of a photographic lens 71 in a camera part 7. When a user performs view angle changing operation by a user controller 5, the zoom ratio of the projection lens 62 is changed according to the operation, and the zoom ratio of the photographic lens 71 is changed corresponding to the zoom ratio of the projection lens 62. The zoom ratio and focus position of the photographic lens 71 are interlocked to the projection lens 62 side, by which the need for preparatory work prior to the use of a photographing function is eliminated.
