PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication terminal in which download can be stopped automatically if the forward data communication rate drops below the desired rate of a user after starting data download. SOLUTION: Forward data communication rate is predicted (S5) and a decision is made whether the forward data communication rate satisfies a desired rate set by a user or not based on the prediction results (S7), and then download is stopped based on the decision results (S12).
