The device has a pivoting central locking disc (8) with a system of two boards to fix a pivot (50) on a base (9). The pivot maintains a plate on a snowboard by cooperation of the boards of the central locking disc with two fastening projections of a horizontal fastening branch of the base. A pivot body (5) has a lower housing (17) in which the base is engaged. An independent claim is also included for a snowboard comprising a boot fastening device.
