<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively simply know number of sheets of printing an image. <P>SOLUTION: Images i1, i2, i3 and i4 of faces are extracted from images I. On the images i1, i2 and i3 of the faces with sizes not smaller than a specified sizes among the extracted images i1, i2, i3 and i4 of the faces, the number is counted. The obtained numbers (three) of the images of the faces are made to be the number of sheets of printing, which is displayed.
