PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molding which can improve productivity as well as a yield. SOLUTION: In a process for molding the skin of an instrument panel as the molding, a skin molding material 36 having a fluidity in a spiral flow of 20-70 cm is injected under the same injection pressure from a first gate 34 and a second gate 35 into a skin molding cavity 33 formed by a skin molding fixed mold 31 and a skin molding movable mold 32 to mold the skin. In this process, a contact part 32b as a leakage suppressing part for suppressing the leakage of the skin molding material 36 from the cavity 33 is set up. In the fixed mold 31, the first and second gates 34 and 35 are arranged so that the first gate 34 is closer to the contact part 32b than the second gate 35.
