PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device not giving a feeling of discomfort when the hands touch screws during handling or the like, and not giving a sense of incongruity in appearance even when parts built in an apparatus are fixed by the screws to a base plate from the inside, and the screws protrude outward from the base plate. SOLUTION: In a ridge part 41A of the base plate 41, a high voltage capacitor 42 is attached from the inside by the screws 44 via a fitting 43. A trough part 41B deeper than a screw 44 length protruding downward than the base plate 41 is formed in a periphery of the ridge part 41A of the base plate 41. The screw 44 is protruded downward than an inner side of the base plate 41 to hold the high voltage capacitor 42, but since a periphery of the screw 44 is covered by the trough part 41B formed on the base plate 41, problems of giving a feeling of discomfort when the hands touch the screws 44 even during carrying of the high frequency heating device, and giving a sense of incongruity when the screws can be seen below the base plate, or the like can be resolved.
