<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for a vehicle which can reconcile the good function of follow adjustment of the quantity of generated power to the load ripple by current-matching power generation control and the good voltage stability by voltage-maintaining power generation control. <P>SOLUTION: This generator converges the power voltage Vb of a load power system into the specified target voltage value Vref and besides detects the sharp fluctuation in the load current of a specified sharp change load 104b and changes the quantity of generated power in the direction of suppressing the voltage ripple by it. Hereby, this satisfactorily suppresses the fluctuation of battery voltage by the large and sharp change in the quantity of load, and also performs conventional voltage-maintaining power generation control in case that such a sharp change in the quantity of load does not occur or in case that a slow change in the quantity of load does not occur, so the stable maintenance of the good battery voltage becomes possible in all load states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
