PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which can be handled as relay equipment. SOLUTION: In the communication apparatus, if a counter coupling part provided in other equipment is made proximate, each of a plurality of proximate coupling parts 104 is capacitively coupled with that counter coupling part 112 to perform at least one of signal transmission and reception with the counter coupling part 112. When capacitively coupling the counter coupling part 112 with the plurality of proximate coupling parts 104, the proximate coupling parts 104 are disposed in a sheet while having a hexagonal shape so that at least one of the superficial areas of counter coupling parts 112 divided in accordance with each of the proximate coupling parts 104 can become greater than an area resulting from dividing into four the entire superficial area of the counter coupling parts 112.
