<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light emitting device that enables even a light emitting element mounted on a flat plate to emit desired light such as white light and to provide a light emitting device capable of efficiently and suitably emitting light without lowering luminosity output. <P>SOLUTION: A wall body 4 made of transparent acrylic resin is provided in the outer periphery of the light emitting element 3 which is mounted on the flat plate and emits light stimulating a phosphor, and molten phosphor containing resin 5 obtained by mixing a phosphor in a transparent synthetic resin material is injected into a transparent synthetic resin and solidified to form a phosphor layer on the light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
