PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potting soil storing bag for vegetable cultivating pot comprising a water-soluble bag filled with the potting soil. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the potting soil storing bag which is placed in a planter type container body (1) or a pot type container body (1') for vegetable cultivation. The bag (2) is obtained by carrying out following steps, forming a water soluble plastic film into a bag, filling the bag with the potting soil (3), sealing the bag containing the potting soil (3), adhering a film (4) made of the same material to the bag body on a face (2<SB>1</SB>) of a part of the surface of the bag body and interposing seeds (5) between the face (2<SB>1</SB>) of the bag and the film (4). The invention relates to the film (4) adhered on the face (2<SB>1</SB>) of a part of the surface of the bag body, wherein the film (4) comprises a film soluble in water more slowly than the film of the bag body of the prescribed embodiment. And the bag (2) which is placed in a planter type container body (1) or a pot type container body (1') for vegetable cultivation, is also obtained by following steps, mixing the seeds (5) with the potting soil, and filling them into the bag (2) composed of the water soluble plastic film of the prescribed embodiment.
