PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document image display so that a user can grasp the entire image before a document image is displayed completely for document image data that are constituted, including image element data generated for each image pixel contained in the document image. SOLUTION: A document image data acquisition section 60 acquires document image data including image element data generated for each image element, included in the document image, in image data for representing the document image. A display control unit 61 displays image, based on each image element data included in the document image data, in the order based on the area related to each image element in the document image, and makes the document image displayed at the display unit 60.
