PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an elastic roller by pouring elastic layer material in a mold by which the outer diameter of the roller is equalized so that a difference in outer diameter of the roller in its longitudinal direction is not larger than 5μm even when the curing temperature is increased to shorten the molding cycle. SOLUTION: When molding the elastic roller by pouring and curing the elastic layer material in the mold retaining a core bar, the temperature of the mold on the material pouring side is made higher than that of the mold on the outlet side.
