<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fixing structure of a side airbag skin capable of surely mounting an airbag module to the side part of a seat bag and improving appearance without generating the clearance between the seat bag skin and the airbag module even if an occupant sits on the seat where the airbag module is exposed to the surface of the seat bag. <P>SOLUTION: In the fixing structure of the side airbag, the side airbag module 2 is mounted to the side part 1a of the seat bag 1 exposing the outer surface. A storage part 6 where the side airbag module 2 is disposed is provided on the side part 1a of the seat bag 1, an insertion hole 16 where the side airbag module 2 is inserted is provided on the skin 5 of the seat bag 1, and a ring shape reinforcing plate 18 is fixed to the back side of the peripheral edge part of the insertion hole 16 of the skin 5 to engage the engaging pieces 12, 13 of a part of the side airbag module 2 and mount them to the reinforcing plate 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
