Toothed gearing (1) comprises a housing (2) and a gear shaft (3) positioned using bearing units (4, 5) having a rolling body (8) formed as a single component within the toothed gearing for positioning and/or clamping during assembly. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Rolling bearing for the toothed gearing; (2) Method for positioning a gear shaft of he toothed gearing; and (3) Computer program for carrying out the method. Preferred Features: The bearing units have a bearing surface (9) aligned in the axial direction of the gear shaft lying directly on the housing wall.
