PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling local area wireless communication are provided to effectively perform information transmission scheduling. CONSTITUTION: The first mobile terminal(100-1) performs local area wireless communication with an AP(Access Point)(110)(S200). The first mobile terminal(100-1) receives a power-saving mode switching request signal(S202). The first mobile terminal(100-1) is switched to a power-saving mode from an active mode and generates a power-saving mode informing signal(S204). The first mobile terminal(100-1) transmits the power-saving mode informing signal to the AP(110)(S206). The AP(110) recognizes that the first mobile terminal(100-1) is in a sleep state(S208). The AP(110) performs an information transmission scheduling except for the first mobile terminal(100-1)(S210). When the first mobile terminal(100-1) receives an active mode switching request signal(S212), it terminates the power-saving mode operation, is switched to the active mode and generates an active mode informing signal(S214). The first mobile terminal(100-1) transmits the active mode informing signal to the AP(110)(S216). The AP(110) recognizes that the first mobile terminal(100-1) is in a wake-up state(S218). The AP(110) performs information transmission scheduling including the first mobile terminal(100-1)(S220). |
