PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for improving reproducibility of storage data to a change of operation environment of a host computer. SOLUTION: Operation environment specification information for specifying the operation environment of the host computer is acquired, and software operation environment specified by the operation environment specification information is acquired from the host computer 10 as storage software environment. When transferring the storage data stored in a storage system 30 to a storage system 40, the operation environment specification information and the storage software environment are associated to the storage data and are stored in the storage system 40.
