PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device having a secondary battery pack enhancing operability and safety by preventing incorrect insertion. SOLUTION: The battery device having the secondary battery pack 1 and a cover 2 capable of attaching and detaching the secondary battery pack has a means for displaying a state of the secondary battery in the cover and is capable of discriminating at least two states of the secondary battery pack, and a display 3 displays the insertion direction of the secondary battery pack, and elements of the display are present on the surface and the back.
