PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein unpleasant wind noise is generated by air flowing in a gap between a shaft part and a pivot part of a case when an air conditioning door is located at a position for slightly opening a blow-off port in an air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is constituted of a case 10 provided with the air blow-off port 16 heat-exchanged by heat exchangers 35 and 49 on a wall part and the pivot part 15 having a C-shape in cross section and extending long, and the air conditioning door 20 including the shaft part 21 supported by the part 15 of the case 10 and a door part 24 for opening/closing the blow-off port. The air conditioning door 20 is turnable to a slightly opening position for slightly opening the blow-off port 16. A projecting line 25 extending radially outward and axially is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft part 21. By forming the projecting line 25, pressure loss of air flowing in the gap 26 becomes larger and flow velocity becomes small, to make wind noise hard to generated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
