The present invention refers to a packing for packaging, distributing and retail selling sugar. Said packing comprises an expandable base, thermoseals located at the side portions thereof, corner-shaped reinforcing thermoseals located at each lower corner of the base, upper closing means transversally thermosealed into the inner walls of the packing, thereby forming a closure having an upper transversal thermoseal located above said closing means. Said package is manufactured out of a low-density polyethylene film, presenting a density of 0.918 g/cc, a tension module of from about 25000 to about 30000 psi and an elongation value of from about 200 % to about 600 %. The invention further comprises an equipment for packaging granular products, which comprises an agitation funnel having a granular product dispenser supported on a first cap of the funnel; a rotary central axis actuated by an upper servomotor that comprises an agitation helix at the lower portion thereof and an helicoidal s crew for dispensing the product through a cylindrical duct located at the lower portion of the funnel; a rotary jacket that rotates about the rotary central axis, said jacket being actuated by a motoreducer that includes a diagonal agitation blade located about the inner contour of the funnel, and a second fixed concave agitation helix opposite the aforementioned agitation blade.
