<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound applicable to blood vessel regeneration in view of the fact that a blood vessel regeneration therapy in the case when blood flow disorder occurs has attracted considerable attention. <P>SOLUTION: What is provided is a differentiation enhancer for stem cells and/or endothelial precursor cells comprising a pyrimidine compound represented by formula (1) or formula (2) or a like thing and so on. In formula (1) or (2), R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>8</SP>are each independently hydrogen, a lower alkyl, CH<SB>3</SB>OCH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>-, -CH<SB>2</SB>CONH<SB>2</SB>, -COCH<SB>3</SB>, -COC<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>, or -CH<SB>2</SB>OCOC<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>; and X is >NH, >N-CH<SB>3</SB>, >N-C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>, >N-ph, >N-CH<SB>2</SB>-ph, >N-CH-ph<SB>2</SB>, >N-COCH<SB>3</SB>, >N-COOC<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>, >N-SO<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>3</SB>, >CH<SB>2</SB>, >CHCH<SB>3</SB>, >CHC<SB>2</SB>H<SB>5</SB>, -O-, or -S-, provided that ph is a phenyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
