<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of an outboard motor capable of feeding automatically the fuel to the outboard motor from the main fuel tank when an engine is starting. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device of the outboard motor is equipped with a low pressure fuel pump 14 to supply the fuel from the main fuel tank 31 in the hull to a vapor separator tank 12 in the neighborhood of the engine. An electrically driven primary fuel pump (primary pump 16) and a check valve 33 are installed parallel between the main fuel tank 31 and the low pressure fuel pump 14. To this primary fuel pump, a control device 36 to operate the primary fuel pump is connected only for the predetermined fuel supply time when the operation to start the engine 5 is conducted and before the engine 5 is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
