PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine in which a gage wheel part is constituted so as to readily be detachable from the tending machine body, and, while the gage wheel is detached, the machine body becomes compact for transport and storage of the machine body, and additionally, a cultivation depth can be enlarged in the deep cultivation operation. SOLUTION: A member 9 for attaching the gage wheel 10 having a plurality of notches 8a ... 8z is mounted to a mission case 3, the gage wheel 10 is equipped with a wheel 31, a supporting member 32 for supporting the wheel 31 and a grip member 33 that is rotatably linked to the supporting member. As the grip member holds the supporting member, the interval between a pivot pin 34 pivotally supporting the gage wheel to a gage wheel attaching member 9 and an engaging pin 37 engaging the notches 8a ... 8z is adjusted to disengage the pins from the notches so that the height of the gage wheel is controlled. Further, a concave groove 35 is opened on the outer hull of the gage wheel-attaching member 9 and the pivot pin 34 is engaged to the concave groove to grip the grip member 33 and the supporting member 32, thereby disengaging the pivot pin from the notches 8a ... 8z and unfastened from the concave groove 35, and the gage wheel 10 is detached from the gage wheel attaching member 9.
