PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head in which a common nozzle plate can be bonded to a plurality of head components with high precision, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The inkjet head comprises a head unit 7 constituted by securing a plurality of head components 10 each other, and a nozzle plate 17 secured to the head unit 7. The head component 10 has a pair of major surfaces M and a front face F held between the pair of major surfaces M wherein the front face F is provided with a plurality of openings 4a communicating with a plurality of ink chambers 4, respectively. The head components 10 constituting the head unit 7 are secured while abutting the major surfaces M each other. The nozzle plate 17 abuts against the front face of the head unit 7 to straddle all head components 10 constituting the head unit 7 and a nozzle hole 16 is provided at a position corresponding to the opening 4a.
