PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a matter that recognition of information is difficult when extra data of the same color system is buried in a monochromatic image. SOLUTION: The color printer comprises (a) a section holding extra data for achromatic color image data, (b) a section for developing the extra data read out from the extra data holding section to bit map data, (c) a section holding chromatic color data for specifying the print color of the extra data, and (d) a section holding positional data for specifying the arranging position of the extra data.
