The invention relates to a process and to an equipment for mechanically hoeing by hoes and tillage cutters, which is used, for instance, for hoeing corn, sun-flower etc. The process for mechanically hoeing consists in digging the soil between the plant rows, by means of some fixed hoes, positioned on both sides of a plant row up to a pre-established clearance, whose width depends on the sowing precision, and the soil digging between the plants is made by some disk sector-shaped tillage cutters, positioned on both sides of the plant row and which make a rotation movement between the plants, said movement being correlated with the forwarding speed and with the distance between the plants by the driving wheel diameter so as, in the mid distance between the plants, the tillage cutter sector has a position in the plant row, and in front of the plants, it is outside of the plant row so that, between the tillage cutter and the plant there remains a suficient clearance in any position of the tillage cutters. According to the invention, the equipment comprises a support frame (A) whereon there is fastened a supporting and driving system (B), a fixed hoe subassembly (C), a tillage cutter subassembly and the actuating mechanism (D), a front train (E) and a supporting and lifting train (F); the support frame (A) is made of some back lateral bars (1 and 1'), fastened to some front transversal bars (2) and back transversal bars (2'); to the bar (2) there are fastened some front longitudinal bars (3 and 3') which, in their turn, are fastened to some transversal front bars (4), intermediary bars (5), and some back bars (6), which are also fastened to the bar (1'), to the bars (1 and 1') there are fastened some lateral transversal bars (7 and 7'), to which there are mounted some bearing supports (8 and 8').
