<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera or the like by which a satisfactory shot image can be obtained by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a shutter button of an operating section 130 is pushed down, a controller 110 controls a lens drive member 122 to change continuously a focal position of a lens unit 121. While the focal position of a lens unit 121 is changing continuously, an image-taking element 123 does the shooting at multiple times to obtain multiple shot images, storing the images in an image memory 150. An image processor 160 specifies focused focal points by calculating contrast values of the shot images stored in the image memory 150. A display controller 142 displays the shot images on a display unit 141 so as to demonstrate clearly the focused focal points specified.
